Efforts to Address Homelessness in Boulder City
Boulder City, with a population of around 16,000 residents, has taken proactive steps to address homelessness by establishing a Homeless Task Force. The task force focuses on recommendations for enforcing city ordinances, community engagement, updating city codes, and other initiatives to tackle the challenges faced. Through collaboration and ongoing community engagement, Boulder City aims to address the issue of homelessness effectively.

Boulder City Homeless Task Force Effort to Address Homelessness
History Boulder City has a population of approximately 16,000 residents. The city is part of the regional collaboration effort and is active with the Southern Nevada Homeless Continuum of Care Board. Boulder City participates in the annual Point-In-Time Count Boulder City does not have any homeless shelters and minimal homeless services. Emergency Aid of Boulder City local community partner- non- profit providing residents with Emergency Assistance. August 2019 City Manager establishes a Homeless Task Force compromised of 11 City employees to come up with recommendations to address homelessness in our community.
