  2. ACTS 11:22-23 The news about [the disciples in Antioch] reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas off to Antioch. Then he arrived and witnessed the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with resolute heart to remain true to the Lord.

  3. WHAT DOES GODS GRACE LOOK LIKE? God s Riches At Christ s Expense But is grace just about salvation? Are you a gracious person?

  4. EPHESIANS 2:4-7 But God, being rich in MERCY, because of His great LOVE with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in KINDNESStoward us in Christ Jesus.

  5. PERSONAL GRACE IS 1. MERCIFUL God feels WITH us. A. Greek = eleos = pity B. Mercy = saving someone from a bad thing he/she deserves C. Jude 21-23 Have mercy on the doubters. Have mercy on the sinners.

  6. PERSONAL GRACE IS 2. LOVING God s feeling FOR us. A. Greek = agape = God s love for man and vice versa. B. Receive blessings give blessings. C. Do you love those who do not love you? God does. D. Do you love those who disagree with you? Jesus did. E. John Wooden: You can t live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.

  7. PERSONAL GRACE IS 3. KIND God s feeling EXTENDED to us. A. Greek = chrestotes = moral oughtness B. How do I know if you are a kind person? 1. Are you sensitive? 2. Are you considerate? 3. Are you patient?

  8. CONCLUSION People will understand the grace of God if they can first receive grace from you. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age. (Titus 2:11-12)
