The Flood Emergency Situation 2020 - Since October 1st 2020: Cambodia affected by tropical depression and cause to heavy raining. - 11-12 October 2020: Affected by LINPHA storm cause to heavy rainfall in to the provinces along the Cardamom mountain. - 12-15 October 2020: Affected by NANGKA storm cause to heavy rainfall all provinces in northeast areas. - 14-21 October 2020: The SOVDEL storm from Vietnam and affected to Cambodia cause to heavy rainfall in Stung Treng, Rattanakiri, Mondolkiri. - 13 October 2020: the Kirirom Dam prokend and the water flow to the province at downstream Takeo, Kampong Spue, Kandal and Phnom Penh. - On 13 October 2020: the Vietnam and Thai s government announce that they will open dam s gate from dam near the Cambodia border soon. Next Plan for flood emergency response - Participate to conduct assessment with government (NCDM) and NGOs partners. - Caritas Cambodia cooperate with CRS to develop emergency proposal appeal. - Caritas Cambodia will launch appeal to Caritas Internationalist (CI) by today 19 October 2020. - Mobilize fund among CACD to support emergency response.
