FPP 512.0 Employee Tuition Waiver Chart Definition of Terms University of Arkansas, Fayetteville Spouse or Dependent: of a Fayetteville Campus Employee Eligible spouse or dependent child (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service); Surviving spouse, who has not remarried, or dependent child of a deceased employee of the Fayetteville campus, who died while in full-time employment Fayetteville Campus Employee Policy Effective May 1, 2017 (see details on separate page: Employee - Policy Effective May 1, 2017; Spouse Dependent of Employee Policy Effective May 1, 2017) Emeritus of the Fayetteville Campus Spouse or Dependent: of an Emeritus or Retiree of the Fayetteville Campus As defined by Board Policy 475.1 Emeritus Status Employee Eligible for Tuition Discount Retiree of the Fayetteville Campus Eligible spouse or dependent child (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service) As defined by Fayetteville Policies and Procedures 412.0 Retiree Status *Full-time, active employee (not on leave without pay except workers compensation, military or family leave) Employee of a Unit of the University of Arkansas Spouse or Dependent: of an Employee of a Unit of the University of Arkansas Exceptions to Current Policy Including Arkansas System office, the Cooperative Extension Service, the Agricultural Experiment Stations, the UAMS Area Health Education Centers and other widely dispersed units of the University of Arkansas that do not offer undergraduate degree programs; must designate UAF as their employee campus per Board Policy 440.1 *Enrollees must meet normal admission requirements *Enrolled in a Degree Program at reduced rates under Board Policy 440.1 prior to 05/01/17 Eligible spouse or dependent child (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service) Surviving spouse, who has not remarried, or dependent child of a deceased employee of the Fayetteville campus, who died while in full-time employment *Remain Continuously Enrolled in the Same Degree Program (UASP 445.1, 2. C.) (see details on separate page: Exceptions to Current Policy) Spouse or Dependent: of an Employee of any other campus of the University of Arkansas Eligible spouse or dependent child (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service); Surviving spouse, who has not remarried, or dependent child of a deceased employee of any other campus of the University of Arkansas Employee of any other campus of the University of Arkansas
FPP 512.0 Employee Tuition Waiver Chart Employee Policy Effective May 1, 2017 University of Arkansas, Fayetteville Undergraduate *90% waiver of tuition *All mandatory student fees excluding the college fee *Up to 132 credit hours UofA Fayetteville (on-campus, off-campus or online) Graduate & Professional Degree Program (not Law or Medical) *90% waiver of tuition *All mandatory student fees excluding the college fee Fayetteville Campus Employee *Up to 72 credit hours Undergraduate Only (no graduate or professional) Any other campus of the University of Arkansas (on-campus, off-campus or online, including eVersity) *50% waiver of tuition *Up to 132 credit hours Undergraduate *90% waiver of tuition *Up to 132 credit hours UofA Fayetteville (on-campus, off-campus or online) Emeritus or Retiree of the Fayetteville Campus Graduate & Professional Degree Program (not Law or Medical) Employed the final day of regular registration following continuous employment in a full-time position with the University for one complete fall or spring semester *90% waiver of tuition *Up to 72 credit hours Undergraduate Only (no graduate or professional) UofA Fayetteville (on-campus, off-campus or online) *90% waiver of tuition *Up to 132 credit hours Employee of a Unit of the University of Arkansas Undergraduate Only (no graduate or professional) Employee Not Enrolled in a Degree Program at reduced rates under Board Policy 440.1 prior to May 1, 2017 Any other campus of the University of Arkansas (on-campus, off-campus or online, including eVersity) *50% waiver of tuition Not Continuously Enrolled in the Same Degree Program *Up to 132 credit hours Undergraduate Only (no graduate or professional) Employee of any other campus of the University of Arkansas UofA Fayetteville (on-campus, off-campus or online) *50% waiver of tuition *Up to 132 credit hours Continuously employed less than one complete fall or spring semester in a full-time position with the University No waiver of tuition until eligibility criteria is met
