  1. About us. Registered in 2000 Prime Focus of Women Empowerment. Executive body with all women members from all over Maharashtra Our vision . To form society where every citizen will get all facilities and services to have quality life and will able to take benefit of the same. All citizens will know rights and responsibilities related to self, families and society and will actively participate in the process of sustainable development.

  4. Vision All children from Tribal area of Maharashtra will get quality education through innovative tools and exposure to life skills to strengthen their foundation for learning and for their holistic development.

  5. Problem/ Issues Poor quality education in schools. Absence of good quality interaction and activities in classroom Dropout rates are high Migration of families No family motivation and support for education

  6. Process Mapping Identification of the area where we will implement the Khelwadi. Conducting Pre tests in the school and understanding present status of the children. Identification and training of local youths to run the Khelwadi Preparing teaching material as per syllabus for the Khelwadi Running Khelwadi regularly, two hours per day for five days in a week. Regular monitoring and evaluation of the programme

  7. Model KhelWadi is a school plus programme (after or before school) For 2 hours daily from Monday to Saturday For primary school students of 1st to 4th Std. Presently running 6 Khelwadi s in 6 hamlets in 2 villages in Mokhada block. Total no of children reached 167 Local 5 community youth have been trained to impart quality education at each Khelwadi

  8. Academic subjects: Math, Marathi, English 193 sessions Life skills development Self awareness, Confidence, Communication, Creative Thinking 29 sessions Arts and craft Drawings, Paper art, Mehandi, Rangoli, Clay work 43 sessions

  10. Key changes observed: Khelwadi has provided quality education which is easily accessible to children from the community. Innovative methodology and tools specially prepared by understanding children s needs has increased students interest levels in education Has resulted in 100% attendence of students in Khelwadi Zero percent drop out rate in one of the schools due to Khelwadi s intervention

  11. Proposal for New Khelwadies o 20 Khelwadis in next in 20 hamlets of 8 different villages. o Around 600 students from 1st to 4th Std. o 12 Youth members trained.

Zero % dropout rate in the area where Khelwadi is implemented. 80% children will able to read and write. 50% of children from the target area will peruse higher studies. 60% students will have Improved inter personal skills confidence for communicating in English, developed creative thinking become vocal. Overall development (Academic as well as personality ) of students from area.
