  5. Connecting Activity How does math education act like a filter ? Think of your own math story. What filtering did you experience? How did this impact you? Moving to a pump How can we make math learning match the ways we use math in our modern lives? What changes in our math program would help all of our students enjoy math? What changes would help all of our students reach their college and career goals?
