Empowering Municipalities Through Recycling Surveys
The Recycling Markets Impacts Survey conducted in 2019 by Heather Church aimed to gather insights from 59 responding jurisdictions, including counties and cities, to understand current practices. The survey focused on what other municipalities are doing in terms of recycling initiatives. Initial results and visuals from the data were presented, and the next steps involve accessing existing data on Ecology.wa.gov, summarizing trends, and planning for the Survey 2020 to enhance participation rates. For questions or further information, contact Heather Church, the Eastern Washington Materials Management Coordinator.
