Dr. J. Luke Wood President, California State University, Sacramento Appointed Sacramento State s ninth president in May 2023. Earned a Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy studies with an emphasis in higher education, and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction in early childhood education from Arizona State University. A champion for access, educational excellence and student success. In 2023, Dr. Wood was appointed by the California State Senate to serve on the newly established California Racial Equity Commission. The Commission works to promote racial equity and address structural racism across the state.

Randy Beach Faculty, Southwestern College Professor of English and Education at Southwestern College where he also serves as the Curriculum chair, Credit for Prior Learning Faculty Lead, and Competency-Based Education Faculty Co-Lead. Holds an M.A. in English from the University of Charleston, a B.A. in English from the College of Charleston, and a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. Served three years as a member of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges (ASCCC) Executive Committee and is currently an Academic Commissioner of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC).
Dr. Sigrid Williams Faculty, Norco College Full-time faculty member in Administration of Justice, and Co-Chair of the School of Human and Public Services at Norco College. On a partial reassign to the California MAP Initiative as their Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) Coordinator. Actively involved in ASCCC as part of their CTE Leadership Committee and a member of the CCCAOE Advocacy Committee. Holds a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, a Master s degree in Public Administration, with dual emphasis in Human Resource Management and Criminal Justice.

Andrew Martinez Sr. Director of Government Relations Community College League of California Graduate of California State University Fresno and Moorpark Community College. Served as the Senior Director of Government Relations for the League since May of 2020. Responsible for budget and policy analysis, strategy development, and engaging the legislature and administration on issues critical to the community colleges. Served as a Senior Legislative Advocate for the California State University (CSU) System. Worked in the State Capitol for more than a decade for two Speakers of the State Assembly and the Chair of the Assembly Appropriations Committee.
Nune Garipian Sr. Policy Advocate Community College League of California Earned Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Yale and was previously a field representative for local assembly member as well as worked on various political campaigns. Joined the League's Government Relations team as the Legislative Advocate in 2021. Attended Pasadena City College and served as a student trustee and was admitted into Yale University as one of four community college transfer students. Prior to joining the League, served as a Senate Fellow for the Office of Senator Scott Wiener.
