  3. The Bloomington Transition Center We support students who are 18-21 years old with mild to moderate disabilities We work on the three areas of transition: employment, post-secondary/training, and independent living We support AIM both in the building and within the community

BTC Building Matrix Lesson Template Restroom Restroom Hallways & Commons Classroom Lunchroom Keep conversations to a minimum Greet each other Be respectful Invite others to sit with you Acceptance Be kind Listen to each other Take turns talking Remember personal boundaries Keep personal space Be helpful Be aware of other s feelings Use the bathroom for its intended purpose Keep food and drink in the lunchroom Use appropriate language Participate and be engaged Independence Use an indoor voice Use technology for learning Use the restroom during passing time Eat your own food Move to class on time Ask for help when needed Use table manners Keep restroom doors closed Keep hallways clean Clean up after yourself: - throw away trash - wipe table - push in chair Be present Keep the restroom clean Respect each others choices and differences Merit Help others when needed Wash your hands with soap Be a problem solver Be polite
