Women Empowerment : An initiative for upliftment of human society. INTRODUCTION Women empowerment is a burning issue in modern time in India. Almost 50% of the world s population is woman. But still they are always kept in home because of social violence, like rape, acid attacks, eve teasing etc. Empowerment of women should be top priority to remove these circumstances. By this, we should change human mind as well as our society. CULTURAL IMPACT ON THE WOMEN Culture is one of the areas, which encircles the people, in all aspects of life. Cultural impact effects women through their education, behavior, and conduct. In old cultural tradition women are discriminated by many rituals Those are :- Devadasis Jauhar Purdah Sati
But my question is why such kind of practices are continuing today? Yes, today we see such kind of brutal custom are present in the society. Such as following:- Female Genital Mutilation or Khatna
Reason and Need of Women Empowerment Lack of education Women are economically very poor. They are totally absent from the political scene
Implementation Of Women Empowerment At present, the Government of India has more than 34 plans for women worked by various division and services. Some of these are as per as the following:- Mahila Samridhi Yojna. Swashakti Group. Support to Training and Empowerment of Women. Women s Development Corporation Scheme. kanayshree
Conclusion The society can only propagate with the equal contribution of Men and women.Empowerment of women is possible only when the men and women work in tandem. Different theoretical analyzes have been given for the empowerment of women, but it should not be limited only to the theory, but the practical aspects of the theory should be taken into account. They must fight for their own rights, do not think of themselves as weak. At present, in the modern era, it is very necessary for women to make their own debut.
