Green your Church Strategy of Presbytery Earth Care Teams Form Earth Care Teams at the presbytery level to engage and support congregations in integrating creation care into their church s Christian witness and ministry
Green your Church Guide to Greening Presbyterian Churches 1. Form an Earth Care Team of at least two people who are interested in your church becoming an Earth Care Congregation (ECC).
Green your Church How to Start and Sustain an Earth Care Team at your Church 1. Form a Congregational Earth Care Team 2. Meet as a Congregational Earth Care Team 3. Schedule Activities and Events 4. Evaluate your efforts 5. Publicize your accomplishments
Green your Church I. Form a Congregational Earth Care Team 1. Identify people and contact 2. Discuss your idea with clergy and staff 3. Get your core group together 4. Draft a description and a mission statement 5. Set a date, time, location for a meeting 6. Invite others (clergy, session, committee)
Green your Church II. Meet as a Congregational Earth Care Team 1. Describe the purpose 2. Mission statement, Goal, Name 3. Brainstorm possible projects 4. Establish communication, internal & external 5. Schedule next meeting
