Friends of Children (FoC) Founded in 2003 6 key members supported by regional volunteers Focus Areas: High School children & youth in rural & urban areas Beneficiaries Deserving (meritorious) students with low family income Key Success Stories: Abhijeet Bhor hails from a low erratic income family was sponsored by FoC for 6 yrs & Is now employed by Vodafone Ghule Goraksha was sponsored for 5 yrs & is now in the Merchant Navy Aruna Kandula was sponsored for 4 yrs & is now employed by Accenture Sandhya Waykar hails from a rural farming family, was sponsored for 4 yrs & is now employed by TCS

  5. Educational Support Offered Monthly workshops on behavioral skills Residential camps to encourage students to be FoC ambassadors Provide reference & textbooks as well as access to libraries Provide guidance on recruitment skills, corporate etiquettes & mock interviews. Total = 13,72,140

Highlights of 2014 20 Workshops - 3 Locations - 11 Trainers - 850+ students 4 Residential Programs in Pune - 12 days - 76 students Residential Programs Unnati Pre-recruitment skills workshop facilitated by trainers from industries Ummed Holistic development of students imparting life skills & higher confidence levels
