  2. WHO ARE WE?

  3. ALTERNATIVES TO INCARCERATION COALITION WESTCHESTER COUNTY Grass Roots Community Organizing group/coalition. We envision a state that does not incarcerate young people. ATIC works together with youth to eliminate the incarceration of young people in New York State. We are a catalyst for action in effort to eliminate racial disparities in the carceral system.

  4. WHY PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH (PAR)? Our current data collection methods are NOT working Data collection methods are NOT designed to address identify and dismantle systemic racism Data collection methods are NOT designed BY the people MOST impacted by the specific system Data collection s main focus is around finances not community health, support and healing,

  7. YOUTH PAR ~Youth PAR is quite strategic and is a style of action research that doubles in potential for positive outcomes. Youth PAR engages youth on a community level: Provides youth with employment, education, and a safe and constructive outlet has great potential to drive policy change.
