PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH We Must Include the Youth Voice.
ALTERNATIVES TO INCARCERATION COALITION WESTCHESTER COUNTY Grass Roots Community Organizing group/coalition. We envision a state that does not incarcerate young people. ATIC works together with youth to eliminate the incarceration of young people in New York State. We are a catalyst for action in effort to eliminate racial disparities in the carceral system.

YOUTH PAR ~Youth PAR is quite strategic and is a style of action research that doubles in potential for positive outcomes. Youth PAR engages youth on a community level: Provides youth with employment, education, and a safe and constructive outlet has great potential to drive policy change.
EXAMPLE OF PAR IN THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD - Surveying youth regarding summer programing - Old surveys reviewed by alumni program participants - Taking in the suggestions and re-design - Implement the updated survey - Implement the outcomes from survey
