Empowerment Initiative for Migrant Workers in 116 Districts
This initiative focuses on providing employment opportunities and infrastructure development in 116 districts across India, targeting migrant workers. With an outlay of Rs. 50,000 crores, the project aims to create employment through 25 different works ranging from community sanitation complexes to rural housing and farm ponds. Launched by the Prime Minister, this comprehensive effort seeks to uplift migrant workers and boost rural development.
