Sense of Place A-Z Nature Challenge This lesson is aimed at Key stage 1 and aims to encourage learners to participate in primary data collection, to encourage outdoor learning and compliment the KS1 curriculum.

Activity Explore the ground, trees, bushes, and skies etc to find and identify as many different creatures as possible, without touching the species. Provide ID guides or books as appropriate, to find names of species, and tell that name to the data recorder. We will then discuss what we have found for each letter, one letter at a time. 4
