  1. ONE WORLD MANY STORIES 1st Teacher Webinar

  2. In the project, students will learn about different cultures and introduce their own. They will present their cities, famous dishes, traditional clothing worn in their regions, local games, and their languages. Additionally, they will explore the cultures of partner schools. Schools will pair up, and students will engage in pen pal exchanges.

  3. Culture Boxes Each student prepares a culture box that represents their culture. The box contains a local item, a recipe, music suggestion, a short story or tale, a traditional costume, or a symbolic object. During an online meeting, the boxes are opened, and their stories are shared with the partners.

  4. Digital Story Writing and Sharing Each school in the project selects a famous tale from their country and creates a modern version using digital tools (e.g., StoryJumper, Canva, or Book Creator). These tales are then compiled into a digital book and shared with everyone.

  5. Cultural Guide Videos Students create short videos introducing their city or country. These videos can include historical landmarks, local dishes, folk dances, or holiday traditions. The videos are shared on the project platform, and students leave comments on each other s videos.

  6. COOKS Each partner country selects a traditional recipe, and students prepare the dish at home. The cooking process is photographed or recorded as a video. During an online session, everyone introduces their dish and shares the recipe.

  7. Language and Proverbs Workshop Each country selects a frequently used proverb or idiom from their language. They explain its meaning and story to the other partners. Additionally, these proverbs are translated into English and compiled into a poster or e-book.

  8. Art and Traditional Crafts Sharing Students choose a traditional art or craft from their country and explain it through a short video or visuals. For example, Turkish students could share marbling art (Ebru) or carpet weaving.

  9. Intercultural Story Chain Each country starts a story and passes it on to another country. As the story travels, cultural elements from each country are added. The final story is compiled into a digital book or animated video.

  10. Online Culture Festival At the end of the project, an online culture festival is organized where all partners showcase their cultures. Each country prepares a special presentation (dance, song, video, or other visual materials) for the festival.

  11. When taking photos or videos of the activities, we must avoid showing the students faces. Students can wear medical masks or face masks, or the recordings can be done from behind the students. For e-safety reasons, we do not show students faces. We must obtain parental consent forms and upload them to the portal.

  12. Initial Steps: Conduct a brainstorming session with the students in the classroom and create a word cloud related to the project (we can use the Wordart website). To disseminate the project, prepare a news article for the school website and create a project bulletin board in the school with the students.

  13. THANK YOU
