HIGH ACHIEVERS Tend to be... eager | exploratory | experienced | ambitious | motivated Expected to be... highly motivated | self-directed learners More likely to... prepare for class | discuss ideas with professors outside of class | take intellectual risks May have... high expectations of themselves | high expectations of their collegiate experience (Achterberg, 2005)
HIGH ACHIEVERS Often best identified by their varied intellectual interests and ultimately their course choices and patterns at the core, they have a profound love of learning & are likely to be engaged, active learners throughout their lifetime. (Wilcox,, 2013)
