Why Why is this problem important? Who cares? E.g. Why is it important to improve? How can it make autonomy safer? Existing studies on how much it contributes to failures/costs
How How is the problem solved today? State of the art Read at least two papers on this topic and state Key results in a couple of sentences How the results relate to your work, what gaps to they leave behind Will you use some of these algorithms as the baseline? The papers should be from acceptable venues, e.g., IEEE, AC, and other scientific conferences or journals on robotics, autonomy, safety, verification, intelligent transportation Not a blog post or a Wikipedia article
How How will your improvement work? How do you anticipate improving over these (and other papers) papers? Detailed flowcharts would help us give you precise feedback
