Report or replace damaged electrical cords or plugs immediately. If equipment gives off smoke/burning smell, turn it off, unplug it and do not use. Properly dispose of waste paper, packaging, dry wood, etc. Store fuel separately in a ventilated area. Use designated smoking areas. Ensure smoke detectors/fire extinguishers/sand buckets in place and maintained. Conduct regular fire drills, know how to evacuate safely and where to gather.
