  6. Underlying principles for DLI 7 Underlying principles for DLI 7 Design and implementation of DLI 7 is owned and driven by Head of Univ. in collaboration with resp. Center(s) DLI 7 should address the needs and priorities of the university Each Head of Univ. will submit their DLR 7.5 milestone formulations to AAU Each result achieved will be verified Funds disbursed based on DLI 7 results will be deposited into Center s account but for use by the university

Total available funds to be earned by university is the sum of the DLI 7 funds under each of the centers 2. Different elements and activities under DLI 7 should be assigned to the different Center s IPs/Annual Workplans 3. Institutions can only earn a maximum of: US$100,000 for DLR 7.1 regional strategy (under one of its centers) Two times per center. A unique position must be filled in each case for DLR 7.2 Once for each step towards accreditation under DLR 7.3 US$100,000 for US$50,000 per year (twice) for - DLR 7.4 Benchmarking

Formulating DLI 7 Formulating DLI 7 Feedback Final DLI 7 for each university is approved by the WB Approved formulations are incorporated into the Centers IPs / subsequent workplans University management defines DLI 7 (including identifying milestones and allocation of all DLRs) and submits to AAU for clearance AAU shares with the experts and WB for feedback. Feedback is communicated to the universities/centers Approval Design
