Enhancing Mental Health Research Priorities
Mental health research priorities in 2020 focus on improving mental health in children and young people, understanding the links between physical and mental health, developing interventions, and ensuring access to quality mental health care. The initiatives emphasize the broader social and economic context of mental health and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on mental well-being. Efforts include accelerating improvements in care, increasing effective resources, involving individuals with lived experience in research endeavors, and utilizing data to advance understanding and support mental health initiatives.
