Design Allow students to bring order to information It is a necessary first step and returning to it should be encouraged.
Encode First phase is the process is the selection of an appropriate symbolic form. Second phase centers on choosing an expressive format Last phase is choosing medium
Assemble Often times, missing components are identified and must be encoded, or parts become redundant and must be discarded
Publishing and Revising Shared with peers, experts, and other interested people for feedback If needed, revisions are made
