  2. 4 Day or 5 Day??? We will know After Spring Break

  3. What a 4-Day Provides Students will have the same classes and teachers every day. Having classes everyday will provide greater access to instruction. Allows students to complete learning activities if they are absent. Every day classes provide better learning comprehension. Students will not have to juggle daily schedules. Extra-curricular activities will not hinder classroom instruction. UHSAA activity classes will have 7th period to begin practice.

  4. Addressing concerns: Principal s Pantry AHS students in need are quietly/confidentially prepared with food for sufficient for the weekend. The backpack is returned on Monday for the next weekend 7th grade day Continue to provides new 7th graders a 1 hour Day to review their class schedules, have a meeting with teachers, how to open a locker, school expectations, how breakfast and lunch works, etc. Interventions: Basic Training A 45 minute block of time when all students, including special education students, that are not proficient in the core areas will have small group instruction and support to help them gain skills and knowledge that will help them reach proficiency. Those who are proficient in all areas will have the opportunity to take an elective during this block of time. Special Education Needs: All needs of Special Education Students will be addressed. The amount of minutes needed to meet their IEP goals should be met in the regular scheduled school day. Any additional accommodations or needs will be addressed on an individual student basis to ensure that they are given the individual education plan that fits their needs in the best possible way.

  5. What We See. The School District has asked that we reach Student Engagement at a higher level and WE see that as: High Quality Instruction with the Least Amount of Interruptions as Possible. By Teaching Students Life Skills in Communication, Writing, Speaking, and other areas that will Help Them be Successful in the Future. Having Students Be Where They Should Be and Doing What They Should Be Doing. Doing all that we can to Assure that ALL Students Achieve High Academic Levels using day-to-day practices of High-level Instruction and Intervention during Class time. Providing a variety of Pathways to help students explore future goals.
