  3. People Creates an active partnership with a field-driven initiative. Connection to Vision 2030 Resources Frees up valuable staff to focus on other urgent projects. Policy Data governance practices that can inform and advance policy for further development and reforms. Systems Systems development to remove barriers at scale by providing near real-time data, improving student support and programmatic progression and analytics. 3

  4. Single interface for Chancellor s Office to access districts data What is the Common Cloud Data Platform? Establishes a core data architecture and schema Able to streamline MIS and 320 reporting Designed to address a diversity of ERP providers and multiple hosting scenarios (on-premises, cloud, SaaS) 4

  5. What CCDP will Demonstrate Focused on field driven solutions Sync data from districts to CCCCO in modern system Near real-time data to improve student support and programmatic progression and analytics Common data structure Begin with defined data scope, knowing future adaptions will be needed Support for the Cradle-to-Career program and other intersegmental initiatives

  6. Benefits to Students Near real-time student analytics will enhance program mapping and student pathways, thus facilitating smoother program completion with fewer excess units. A foundation for an automatic application and acceptance pipeline to other institutions, thereby streamlining student transfers. Access to near real-time data will improve student support, allowing colleges to shift limited resources more effectively. This will enable them to prioritize institution specific technology initiatives to better address students unique needs. Support for the Cradle-to-Career program and other intersegmental initiatives.

  7. Benefits to Colleges and Staff Streamlined Management Information System (MIS) and attendance reporting will alleviate the burden on over-stretched personnel responsible for MIS/320 reporting, enabling them to prioritize their primary duties. Streamlined data submission processes will eliminate the need for large-scale, complex system migrations. Synchronization of data from districts to the Chancellor s Office will occur in a modern system, ensuring colleges retain control over data submission information. The Chancellor s Office data dashboard will feed near real-time data available at the system level, enabling colleges to rapidly identify enrollment and success trends.

  8. COMIS / 320 Challenges and Desired Outcomes What is What can be One-way transmission at points in time Interconnected system leveraging modern data flows and expanded college, regional, and state-wide insights Each district develops their own quality assurance processes, errors are common Collaborate through near real-time integration, while maintaining local autonomy Little visibility or double-checking on quality processes Share best practices and QA through agreed upon data governance Time-intensive and stressful submission process impacts staff Staff freed up to validate and release final/official reports on behalf of district rather than construct entire report Data submitted at various times, sometimes late / time lag Actionable insights available to colleges and Chancellor's Office
