Environment is where all human beings live within, apart from the natural environment, it includes everything that is tangible or intangible, from creatures, cultures to buildings etc. Business Environment Business Environment Is just like human beings it doesn t function in an isolated vacuum, And the success of every business depends on adapting itself to the environment within which it functions. Example: when the government changes a policy, the business should immediately make a necessary changes to adapt to the new policy. 3
Economical Environment: It has a big impact on businesses, the level of consumer spending affects prices and the number of workers that businesses employ. Environmental Components Impact on Organization Social Environment: it can be integral to it s success or failure. Employees are often influenced by the context in which they work and this can have implications for productivity. Political Environment: Governments have a great deal of power over business, in which they can make the market environment more or less friendly for businesses. 4
Legal Environmental: It influence business and affect how a company operates. It affects businesses in a varios legal factors including law and regulations on taxation, employment, securities and more. Environmental Components Impact on Organization Technological Environment: New technology can create new products and services, thereby creating an entire new market for businesses. Moreover, improvments in technology can increase productivity and reduce costs. 5
A successful business has to identify, appraise and respond to the varios apportunities and threats in its own environment. The business environment is a dynamic nature [it keeps on changing]. Conclusion The social environment is easier to measure than other environmental components. The law affects the way businesses operate and customers behave. 6
