Definition: The code of ethical behavior regarding professional practice; Action among the members of a profession in their dealings with each other (ex: medical etiquette) Importance: Promotes professionalism Sign of respect | CNH | California-Nevada-Hawaii Key Club District District Education

  3. Communication Telephone: Be prepared with what you have to say before making the call. Find a quiet place, with little to no backgroound noise. Speak clearly & slowly.   4. Communication (contd.) E-mails: Include a Subject Name. Use correct grammar and spelling doN t tYpe lyKe diS. Include a salutation and closing No slang. Ex: wassup, you guys . Separate into paragraphs if the message is long. Poor communication provides negative information about you. You represent Key Club. Negative information about you is negative information about Key Club! Do not show-off with unreasonably long words.   9. General Manners (contd.) Talking: Be courteous to others opinions. Do not interrupt. No talking behind anyone s back. Do not be rude. Always listen to what people have to say. Public Speaking: Be clear, try not to stutter. Pause if you need to! Prepare yourself on what you are going to say.
