Evidence Collection Process for MAT Services
The Evidence Collection Process for MAT Services involves three main stages: Planning, Collecting & Submitting. The process includes gathering evidence related to Process, Numerical, and Experiential aspects, based on RAG status indicators. The RAG status categorizes implementation levels across MAT services as RED (limited evidence), AMBER (partial implementation), GREEN (full implementation), and BLUE (sustained implementation). The process steps include creating evidence plans, collecting evidence, recording information, summarizing findings, and reviewing outcomes.

Timescale, Evidence Collection Three stages: Planning, Collecting & Submitting. Specifically, evidence collection for: Process, Numerical & Experiential.
What Evidence, To What Extent? What evidence needs to be collected? Process Numerical Experiential To what extent? That depends on the RAG status for each standard....
RAG Status - Overview RED: There is no or limited evidence of implementation of the standard in MAT services. As of yet there are no documented processes or test of change for implementation. There are no systems in place to collect data on time from first presentation to prescription and no documented systematic feedback from people using services. AMBER: There is evidence of partial implementation of the standard in MAT services. A single service test of chance with documented processes, positive trends in time from first presentation to prescription, and systematic feedback from people using services that access and the experience of service use has improved. GREEN: There is evidence of full implementation of the standard across all MAT services. The processes established in an initial test of chance (i.e. SOP and prescribing guidelines for same day assessment and treatment) have been formalised through local governance arrangements and implementation is being rolled out across all MAT services in the ADP. Systems are developing or in place to document the time from first presentation to prescription and positive trends are evident. Systems are in place or developing to enable systematic input from people about their experiences of services. BLUE: There is evidence of sustained implementation and ongoing monitoring of the standard across all MAT services. The standard is implemented across all MAT services in the ADP. Processes have been formalised through local governance arrangements. Sustainable systems are in place to document the time from first presentation to prescription and positive trends are evident. Systems are in place to enable sustained input from people about their experiences of services.
