1930s A shortage of funding and the World War II hindered the initial developments After the war ABC was able to work closely with other states to produce approximately 6 hours of radio broadcasts (Mon-Fri)
1950 Use of radio broadcasts grew 1960 Reached its peak Before Being superseded by school television broadcasts The radio broadcasts unit was fighting for its continued existence against the threat of educational television.
