  1. Welcome to First Grade! Herod Elementary 2021-2022 We can t wait to get to know you and your wonderful families!

  2. Daily Schedule for Ms. Manzanares Dual Language

  3. Daily Schedule for Ms. Atkinson, Dr. Gabriel, Ms. Ulhaque and Ms. Beal

  4. First Grade Norms Snacks Please send one snack with your child daily in a separate container/bag. Lunch Lunch is provided free of cost. You can also send a lunch from home. Please practice with your child how to open the items. Change of Clothes Please make sure to always put a change of clothes in your child s backpack. Water Bottles As a precaution we will not be using the water fountains. Please send a water bottle daily.

  5. ACTION STEPS By Friday at noon Send your child s teacher an email with the following: Parents names Child s name How your child will get home Any additional emails you want included in the email list Working phone number/numbers

  6. Parent Information Please reach out to your child s teacher if you have any questions or concerns. Make a plan for how your child will get home from school the first day and let your child s teacher know for dismissal. We are excited to have all of our students in class with us this year. It will be different that other years due to COVID, but we will be sure to make it as safe as possible and have lots of 1st Grade fun!
