JUNE, 2019 ABB Connect New Functionalities
Introduction of Local News The support for Countries local news from the News Bank has been added. The local News are supported in both, local language and the English language Slide 2 December, 2018
Download pause mechanism New mechanism that allows to pause file download within the application. Slide 3 December, 2018
Document status visualization New tagging added to the documents, showing in a clear and easy way in what status the document is. The supported statused include internality, availability, and new ready to update status. Slide 4 December, 2018
Ready-to-update document status Now the offline documents have an indication in a form of tag which inform users that a new version of the document is available for download. The mechanism has been added to Document manager, pre-defined/personal portfolios, and the download Manager. Selecting the document and tappin the download icon will trigger document update. Slide 5 December, 2018
PIS product view URL addition Addition of the URL on the PIS product view. The URL is a shortcut to the new.abb.com page for the product. The URL opens in the in-built browser, or can be opened in the external browser. Slide 6 December, 2018
New Event Section Addition of a new Event Section which, when enabled, is available from the Dashboard. The new event section is hidden by default and can be enabled/disabled on-demaned per country by the respective Super User(s). The new Event Section can hold overall information, promotion, and product material for the ongoing event. The section is visible on all devices right after being enable. Slide 7 December, 2018
English Language support for Thailand An English language for Thai version of ABB Connect has been introduced. The users can now decide whether they want to use Thai or English at the first startup of ABB Connect or later in the Settings. Slide 8 December, 2018
ABB Ability section available for China The ABB Ability section has been introduced to the Chinese version of ABB Connect. The section is translated to Simplified Chinese and can be access from the Business section. Slide 9 December, 2018
