New week, new opportunities to learn and grow as an HTM professional. Check out the listings for jobs and internships! 1. RECENT JOB/INTERNSHP OPENINGS The Career Center is hosting a Graduate School Fair with representatives from many colleges and universities from around the Midwest. Check the list on the website for participating schools. 2. GRADUATE SCHOOL FAIR 10.21.2024 Join HTM faculty, students, staff, and alumni in a day of service at the Mi Veteran Homes of Grand Rapids location on Monroe. Help clean the graves, landscape, paint, and decorate for Halloween. Donuts and lunch will be provided. 3. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Reminder: UnCon is this Wednesday. UnCon is a non- traditional HR conference set up for people specifically in the hospitality industry. GVSU HTM students can attend for free! 4 UnCon HR 2024 Helpful campus resources for students to utilize! 5. RECOMMENDATIONS: RESOURCES Local band Phabies is performing an evening concert in the Arboretum on the Allendale campus. Bring blankets hot beverages with be provided. 6. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Join HTM faculty, staff, students, and alumni, along with the Public, Nonprofit, and Health Administration department, for a day of service at the MI Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids located in NE Grand Rapids on Monroe Ave. The day begins with a tour of the facility, then volunteers help with landscaping, painting, and decorating for Halloween.
