Welcome to Third Grade! Team Teachers: Mrs. Amanda Boxx Mr. Ryan Logsdon
Hello and welcome! We are so excited to be back in school and ready to begin working with your children! Although the method of instruction is different, our commitment to your child s education is our priority and we are very eager to get started. District-wide daily instructional times: 8:00a.m.-3:22p.m.-THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS IN THE SPRING AND WILL BE MUCH MORE RIGOROUS!
Classroom Expectations Students are expected to log into Microsoft Teams during all live instruction sessions. Attendance is recorded for each session daily. Students are also expected to log into Teams meetings for small group/interventions. These will be scheduled as well. Students are expected to complete all assignments. Grades will be given for each task and recorded in the online gradebook. Students are expected to be fully dressed in school-appropriate attire for all virtual meetings. NO PAJAMAS! Students are expected to use appropriate language when speaking in class Team meetings as well as in all communications used to complete work.

Communication Microsoft Teams is the preferred methods of communication. You may also use Class Dojo to communicate as needed. Please provide an accurate phone number AND email that you use daily to ensure you can be reached as needed. Please let me know if numbers change so that we can reach you. You can reach me by email, Class Dojo, or Microsoft Teams. You may utilize the class website to find school or class information as well. Classroom websites include links to important information such as virtual learning assignments, calendar, and instructional links to be used. These are found on the left hand side of the page.

Classroom materials The supplies for in-person instruction will be a little different than the supplies needed for virtual learning at this time. Virtual Pencils, erasers, lined paper, folders to organize materials for each subject. You may want ear buds to use with your device during live instructional sessions. If you have a dry erase board and marker, that may also be useful during live sessions. In-person Pencils, erasers, lined paper, folders for each subject, notebook for each subject, pencil box, ear buds, dry erase markers, sanitizer, tissues.
