Can include simple list of relevant coursework 2. Can also include academic honors 3. Applicable technical skills 4. Work experience reverse chronological order 5. Leadership experience in organizations 6. Awards, honors, etc.

  7. +Things to Remember Do Don t Include too many/few details Balance without being overly technical Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally Use action words to describe your accomplishments Utilized, organized, collaborated, etc. Be mindful of tenses past vs. present Be mindful of date ranges List job duties or use a passive voice Include meaningless data List quantifiable results use numbers as a tool to provide scale Be dishonest or inflate titles/experience Aim to be compelling Paint a picture of who you are and what you bring to the table Cover letters can add to this Include irrelevant information (hobbies, interests, etc.)

  8. +Resume Tips & Tricks Fine Tuning Be 100% sure that there are no spelling/grammatical errors Do not send a photo or personal information (DOB, etc.) Guide the reader s eye to points you want to highlight through formatting Be careful with what you put in bold Have at least one other person review your final draft Remember to upload as a PDF to lock in formatting Ask yourself Have I communicated my accomplishments clearly, concisely, and accurately? Does this resume reflect who I am and what I can contribute? If I were the hiring manager, would I hire myself?
