Californias State Tree The state tree is the Redwood. There are many Redwood trees in Northern California. They are so big that you can drive through some of them!!
Californias State Bird The state bird is the quail. It s very fat, isn t it!!
Californias State Flag The California state flag has a star and a bear on it! There used to be many bears in California. like Kumamoto?!
Californias State Motto and Nickname "Eureka...I have found it!" "Eureka...I have found it!" The state motto is Eureka I have found it! because gold was discovered in San Francisco in 1848. The nickname is the golden state for the same reason! Golden gate bridge
