MAPPING MAPPING UX UX IN IN ORGANISATIONAL ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE CULTURE In the workshop participants will map both current and desired culture in relation to how well UX is embedded in services, based on Johnson and Scholes elements of culture and Cultural Web. The two maps will then be compared in order to promote discussion and highlight what, where and how change can be implemented to embed UX within the culture of the organisation, based on the question: What does the culture need to look like to make this change happen ? 2 2 Mapping UX Mapping UX

Strong student focus experienced across service. t Customer services team lower in structure and has been separate from library teams. t Part of wider student support division Director supportive though not experienced with ux.   5. YOUR TASK FOR TODAY YOUR TASK FOR TODAY Work around all the outside factors analysing the current environment to build up a picture of the current culture. (10 minutes) Discuss in small groups of 3-4 people (5 minutes) Repeat the process considering the future desired culture. (10 minutes) In your small groups analyse the two pictures to identify where the gaps are.
