  4. African Djembe Drumming Caribbean Reggae Steel Pans/Steel Band, Latin American Percussion instruments, strong sense of rhythm, used for dancing Indian Sitar and Tabla

  5. Africa is a very large continent with many musical styles and cultures across its different countries. The music is not normally written down but passed on through oral tradition One of the most popular percussion instruments used in African music is the Djembe Drums.   6. Steel bands come from Trinidad and Tobago. They use steel pans. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H- bTMbePj0A Reggae is a style of music which originated from Jamaica in the 1960s. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdB- 8eLEW8g

  7. Music in Latin America is widely influenced by colourful and exotic carnivals and a range of dance styles. The music uses lots of percussion instruments such as cow bells and claves. The music is very rhythmic. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqIs2kCsAqI

  8. There are many different styles of music in India. One style is Hindustani Classical Music. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yZ8asCcNp4 Two instruments used in Indian music are the: Tabla and Sitar
