Where is Lendrick Muir? Lendrick Muir is set in 120 acres of open grounds and woodland, with the Ochil Hills as a backdrop It is situated near Kinross just off the M90, approximately 40 miles from Edinburgh The journey will take just over an hour
Cost Approximately 150 Pay 4 instalments of 37.50 Financial assistance is available
What is Outdoor Learning? More than just having fun . Outdoor education is about exciting, adventurous outdoor activities which develop confidence and encourage team work
Still learning but outdoors! The 4 Capacities Successful Learners Confident Individuals Responsible Citizens Effective Contributors And building resilience
Challenge Yourself! Challenge yourself to try something new Challenge yourself to build a great group Challenge yourself to do your best Challenge yourself to help other people do their best What have you done today to make you feel proud?
Practical Matters! Where do you sleep? How are the groups organised? How are the activities organised? What is the food like? What do we do about medication? What do we do in the evenings?
Pupil & Parent Guide Every child will be issued with a very informative guide to their stay at Lendrick Muir including Kit List All Information will also be posted on the school Website
How can you help your child to prepare for Lendrick Muir? Practical things- teach them to put a duvet cover on and organise their own clothes Discuss worries but stay positive Model a Growth Mindset! Don t send any sweets or fizzy drinks Let me know if you are concerned
Pre-Camp Prep.. The children will have lots of time to plan and prepare for their trip in classes and groups
