Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) at a Glance CACFP by the Numbers: 4.8million children served each day $3.7 billion in federal spending each year Reimbursement Rates: $0.31 - $1.84 for breakfast $0.32 - $3.41 for lunch $0.08 - $0.94 for snack CACFP Meals: Same 5 components: milk, grain/bread, protein (meat or meat alternative), fruit, and vegetable.
