All Bath schools are no smoking areas (within and around the schools). Please do not wander off alone, stay with your teachers at all times (pupil safeguarding rules). During class observations, please be very discreet about writing notes or do this after the lesson. Remember that it is a privilege to visit schools and that teachers are very busy people, so select your times carefully when asking teachers professional questions.

  26. The School Day This will vary from school to school. Try to include a guided tour (by a student) of the school during your visit. Lunch may be taken out of school, but usually the school will offer you one of their lunches. If possible, visit a school assembly. Work with the pupils in the classroom if you are invited to do so by the teacher.
