MSR Objective MSR Objective The overall goal of our research, teaching, and practice activities is to encourage the discovery, dissemination, and application of knowledge about the relationship between management, spirituality, and religion. We aim to promote the value of such research in the Academy of Management (AOM) and in all organizations. Encourage innovative research, drawing upon all types of methods and approaches.

Journal of Management, Spirituality & Religion (JMSR) Journal of Management, Spirituality & Religion (JMSR) JMSR aims to become the premier scholarly publication devoted to the rapidly expanding and cutting-edge research concerning the influence of spirituality and religion on organizational dynamics and management outcomes. JMSR serves three communities: (1) students, scholars and practitioners of spirituality, (2) management academics and practicing managers, and (3) religion scholars and religious leaders.

International Association of Management, Spirituality & Religion (IAMSR) IAMSR holds bi-annual international conferences which serve as a meeting ground between academics and practitioners from all over the world. Conferences were held in Vienna (2010), Bangalore (2012), Lourdes (2013) and Barcelona (2015). The Barcelona conference had more than 200 participants from 42 countries. MSR Retreat MSR Retreat _____ The MSR Retreat, held after each AOM annual meeting, is a unique opportunity for reflection, learning, and community-building specifically designed for MSR members, spouses, colleagues, and friends. _____ The three day retreat is co-created and pluralistic, exploring practices from a variety of sacred, spiritual and psychological traditions based on the interests of participants.

Most Promising Dissertation Award Most Promising Dissertation Award MSR believes it is important to encourage and support our emerging scholars. Towards this purpose, the Most Promising Dissertation Awards honor and assist doctoral candidates working in the MSR domain to develop quality dissertations that can: (1) integrate management with spirituality and/or religion, and (2) reflect novel and/or significant evidence-based theoretical and/or applied contributions to the field. This MSR award is unique in that it supports students at the dissertation proposal stage with the intention to encourage quality doctoral dissertations as a springboard to ongoing contributory research and inquiry.
