It takes its name from verse no 2 This was the first Surah which was revealed by Allah and signified the beginning of Prophethood. Surah Al-Alaq Main Topics: 1.Creation of man. 2.God as the teacher of man by the pen. 3.Man s rebellion against God and thinking himself of being needless. 4.The one who prevents the Prophet from worshipping God and God punishing him.
