What is my Genius Hour? The title in the beginning is from a slogan from 2016 during the election. I decided to do my Genius Hour on learning more about the famous bassist Leslie Edward Les Claypool.
Why I chose this topic The reason I chose this topic for my Genius Hour is because I have always been a big fan of Les Claypool. I know a little bit about him, but not as much as I would like to. He is very talented at playing the base.
How will I accomplish this? I will research Les Claypool and organize a report on him. I will look up how to organize a good report and look up information on him. This will be fun.

Early Career Les Claypool auditioned for Metallica, thinking that he would be offered the job since he and Kirk Hammett (the lead guitarist) were friends in college. They didn t accept Les Claypool because he was to good. They thought that he should go do his own thing.
