  1. INTRODUCTION OF VOLUMETRIC ANALYSIS Dr. Pratima Katiyar School of Pharmaceutical Sciences

  2. Volumetric analysis and Pharmaceutical analysis is branch of chemistry in which deals a process for identification determination and quantification purification of substance Separation of substances Structure Elucidation

  3. Various fields are utilized the analytical techniques such as pharmaceutical field Geological field Forensic field Microbiological field

  4. CLASSIFICATION OF ANALYSIS Based on knowledge of component and proper information , the analysis is classified two types A. Qualitative analysis B. Quantitative analysis

  5. Qualitative analysis is concerned with identification of compound present in the sample. Means WHAT is present in the analyte. Such as Identify the paracetamol present in the given sample or not.

  6. Quantitative Analysis is concerned with the determination of quantity of compounds present in the analyte. Means HOW MUCH amount present in the sample. Such as. Assay of given paracetamol powder sample.

  7. SCOPE Analytical chemistry and instrumental techniques are applied Manufacturing Industry Q. A. and Q.C. Department Research and development Drug discovery and design Analytical equipment validation
