TIME EXPRESSIONS IN PRESENT RIGHT NOW/ RIGHT AWAY (immediately) *I need someone to help me right away/ now. ON TIME (the time when something is supposed to hapend) *The train is leaving on time. FROM NOW ON (from this moment and forever into the future) *From now on, I ll always tell you the truth. ONCE (for one time only) *She goes shopping once a week.
Use these expressions of time to complete the dialogs. Follow the example: on time right now from now on once right away twice Andy s mom: Shut down the computer, Andy! Andy: I m shutting it down right now, mom. Mom: I will say it only one time. Andy: Ok, mom. ______ is enough. (Ok, mom. Once is enough.) Mom: I had to tell you that two times last night. Andy: No, you didn t say it _____, but only once. (No, you didn t say it twice, but only once.) Mom: Your classes start at 9:00 in the morning. Andy: Don t worry, mom. I ll be there _______. (Don t worry, mom. I ll be there on time.) Mom: You have to be more careful in the future. Andy: You re righte. I ll be more careful ___________. (You re right. I ll be more careful from now on.) Mom: No more talking children. Go to bed. Andy: Yes, mom. __________. (Yes, mom. Right away.)
