BEFORE WE ADDRESS MOTIVATIONS No motivation is inherently healthy or unhealthy and on the contrary, any motivation could be healthy or unhealthy, it is vital to figure out whether something is healthy for you. While it is common to act out of a prime motivation, it is a rare to act out of a singular motivation. Deliberately withholding your motivation from your partner could interfere in their ability to provide informed consent. While I have classified motivations into categories, thee categories are broad, and within them there is a personalised version of motivations for you to find.
