Q: How do I start supervision on Certemy? A: LMSWs will need to go to https://www.labswe.org/supervision/ LMSWs will see the supervision contracts towards the bottom of the page. If your LCSW-BACS IS employed at the same agency as you, click the bottom option. This will show as Supervision Contract 1 under My Credentials on your Certemy page. If your LCSW-BACS is NOT employed at the same agency as you and is off-site, click on the top option. This will show as Supervision Contract 2 under My Credentials on your Certemy page
Q: Do you have any information on what to put as secondary supervisor if supervisee s agency supervisor is not a LCSW- BACS? Supervisee- you will invite your supervisor to complete the first step. Supervisor- you will receive an email and will need to create your Supervisor profile. Primary Supervisor is your LCSW-BACS Secondary Supervisor is your Agency Supervisor If you are prompted to invite a secondary supervisor and your LCSW- BACS is employed at the same agency as you, the wrong contract was chosen. Supervisee will need to start Supervision Contract 1 instead.
Q: How do you tell if your Supervision Contract is approved if you completed it through Certemy? A: Final Review will only show pending verification once all of the previous steps are also pending verification. The Supervision Contract will be approved by Board staff within 2 weeks of all of the steps showing pending verification. As soon as the 3 steps are verified, your contract is approved and will show completed on each step.
Q: Those who were under supervision but switched jobs. Should they use the same process to complete the forms as the new supervisees? A: Yes Any new supervision contract must be completed through Certemy. Any form previously turned in is already in licensees file and does not need to be re-submitted as it has already been approved by the Board.
