A, WORLDLY INFLUENCES AND ATTRACTIONS
A, WORLDLY INFLUENCES AND ATTRACTIONS 2 Peter 1:3-4 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
A, WORLDLY INFLUENCES AND ATTRACTIONS 2 Peter 2:20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
B, CARES AND PRESSURES Mark 4:18-19 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, 19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
B, CARES AND PRESSURES 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
C, TROUBLES AND PERSECUTIONS John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

HOW DO WE LIVE AS OVERCOMERS OVER THE WORLD? 1, Set Your Desires On Things Above 2, Be Sanctified By The Word And The Spirit 3, Live By Faith In God And With A Renewed Mind 4, Be Spiritually Minded And Earthly Wise
1, SET YOUR DESIRES ON THINGS ABOVE Colossians 3:1-3 1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
2, BE SANCTIFIED BY THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT John 17:16-17 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
3, LIVE BY FAITH IN GOD AND WITH A RENEWED MIND 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
4, BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED AND EARTHLY WISE Matthew 10:16 "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
