4- Which oceans are the coldest? Arctic Ocean, Antarctic Ocean. Both of these oceans are frozen in the winter.
Which are found in only one hemisphere? The Arctic Ocean is in the Northern Hemisphere; it runs along the coasts of the American continent, Europe and Asia as well as the North Pole. The Antarctic Ocean is in the Southern Hemisphere and runs along the coasts of the Antarctic.
5. Which continents are bordered by the Atlantic Ocean? Europe, Africa and North and South America And the Pacific Ocean? North and South America, Asia and Oceania
6. Look at the physical map of Europe. Which seas border the Italian coasts? The Liguria, Tyrrhenian, Adriatic and Ionic Seas
7. Look at the ocean currents that flow along the coasts of South America and southern Africa. What do they have in common? The west coast of both continents have a cold ocean current. (In South America, the Peru current and in Africa, the Benguela current.) On the east coast of both continents, there is a hot ocean current (South America has the Brazil current and Africa the Agulhas current).
