  6. 2018- 19 Title Funds (Carryover) Allocation date: July 1, 2018 Final Expenditure Date: September 30, 2021 Extended from 9/30/20 by USED waiver Allowable Use Any activity aligned to program requirements Plan Revisions and Due Dates Submit email to program specialist describing proposed revisions to approved CO plan as soon as you reasonably can

  7. 2019-20 Title Funds (Current Award) Allocation Date: July 1, 2019 Final Expenditure Date: September 30, 2021 Allowable Use Any activity aligned to program requirements Plan Revisions and Due Date Use CIP Budget Narrative to revise and resubmit for ODE review Submit revisions prior to September 30, 2020 For districts with an approved narrative, any funds unspent by 9/30/20 become carryover funds and will generate a carryover application

  8. 2020-21 Title Funds (Next Award) Allocation Date: July 1, 2020 Final Expenditure Date: September 30, 2022 Allowable Use Any activity aligned to program requirements Plan Submission and Due Date Use the CIP Budget Narrative to submit Application opens mid-August Due date December 31, 2020

Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) All districts that received Title IA allocations in 2019-20 are eligible Allocation Date: TBD Final Expenditure Date: September 30, 2022 Districts who do not accept Title IA funds will not be eligible for ESSER funds

ESSER Funds Allowable Uses Activities authorized under IA, IC, ID, IIA, III, IV-A, IV-B, IDEA, MV and Perkins Improving preparedness and response efforts Resources necessary to address the needs of schools Outreach to historically underserved students Cleaning and related supplies Training on preventing spread of infectious disease

ESSER Funds Allowable Uses Planning for and coordinating during long-term closures Purchasing educational technology Mental health services and supports Summer learning and afterschool programs Other activities that are necessary to maintain the operation of and continuity of services in districts and continuing to employ existing staff.

  15. ESSER Funds: Whats Next Oregon will receive approximately $120 million 90% will go to districts that accepted IA funds Districts will need to apply for funds Equitable share rules for private schools will apply Be on the lookout for application information in June 2020
