Financial sacrifice in Islam is a core principle where believers spend in the way of Allah for righteousness. Ahmadiyya Muslims practice this through various contributions like Chanda, including Waqf-e-Jadid for moral training and community outreach. Giving selflessly leads to blessings and rewards, as highlighted in the Holy Qur'an.

  1. Financial Sacrifice By Cheam Nasirat

  2. One of the most assured ways in which a Muslim can attain blessings and reward is to spend in the way of Allah. The Holy Qur'an says: They who spend their wealth for the cause of Allah, then follow not up what they have spent with taunt or injury, for them is their reward with their Lord and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve. (2:263) What is Financial Sacrifice? Never shall you attain to righteousness unless you spend out of that which you love; and whatever you spend, Allah surely knows it well. (3:93) To achieve righteousness, a believer must make sacrifices out of what he loves best, whether it is money, property or possessions.

  3. The Ahmadiyya Contribution System Its activities depend solely on the donations of its members. The Ahmadiyya Movement is a spiritual organisation and is not involved any kind of worldly business Every project of the Jama at; including Muslim Television Ahmadiyya, construction of mosques, publishing of Islamic literature, is funded by the financial sacrifices of Ahmadi Muslims. Each time the Khalifat-ul Masih has announced a new scheme, men, women, and children have rushed forward with donations of money, jewellery, and other possessions so that they may be blessed by Allah.

  4. Contributions made to the Jama at by its members are called chanda and fall into different categories. Some examples of chanda are as follows: Zakat; Fitrana; Chanda Aam; Wassiyat; Jalsa Salana; Tehrik-e-Jadid; Waqf- e-Jadid; Auxiliary Organisation Membership; Sadqa; Eid Fund and Publications Types of Contributions Some chandas are compulsory and some are voluntary. Some chandas have a fixed rate, while others have no limit; it is up to the donor to give what he or she can.

  5. Waqf-e-Jadid translates to The New Dedication Initiated by Hazrat Musleh Maud (ra) in December 1957 Main objective: train Muallims (teachers) What is Waqf-e- Jadid? Aim: Moral training and Tabligh in rural Jama ats of Pakistan Concentrate on Tabligh to the Hindu community in the Sindh province of Pakistan Made worldwide in 1985 by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (rh) (Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad) The Waqf-e-Jadid year is from 1st January to 31st December

  6. About this scheme, Hazrat Kahlifatul Masih II (ra) said: This is the undertaking of Allah, and He Himself will complete it. Since it is Allah Almighty who has put this inspiration in my heart, I shall endeavor to fulfil it even if I have to sell my house and my clothes to do so and even if, not a single person assists me. Allah shall cut them off from the Jama at who are not helping me in this regard and will send down the angels from heaven to help me. From the words of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) we can truly understand how extremely blessed this scheme is and the lengths Huzoor was willing to go to make sure this scheme was fulfilled. We should all strive to ensure that his words are fulfilled to their full potential.

  7. Global Achievements of Waqf-e-Jadid New mosques built New Jama ats established People coming into fold of Islam Ahmadiyyat New Imams trained People are increasingly willing to make even more sacrifices, monetarily and in many other ways

  8. Who is encouraged to take part? Goal: 100% participation Lajna, Nasirat and those under 7 years old are encouraged to take pledges and contribute.

  9. I emphasize to the community that they should understand the importance of the scheme and devote their full attention to it and try their utmost to make it a success, ensuring that no individual in the Community that can afford it is left out. Hazrat Khalifatul- Masih II (ra) stated: Therefore, we must contribute seriously and generously and Allah Almighty will bless your financial sacrifices

  10. Today I appeal to all Ahmadi children (boys and girls) to come forward and fill the gaps which have been left by your elders due to their laxity, and get rid of the weaknesses which have found their way into the work of Waqf-e-Jadid And finally, a special message to the children of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community In relation to the above address, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh) has appealed to the youth of our Jama at to strengthen the weaknesses and further improve the work of Waqf-e- Jadid. This is a huge responsibility and we should all try out utmost best to ensure that we implement these instructions in our lives. While inaugurating Daftar Atfal in 1966, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh) said: May Allah enable us all to understand, focus upon and follow these instructions to the best our abilities and May Allah accept our humble efforts. Ameen.
